Terms of Service

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using PcketBinder at app.pcketbinder.com, you agree to these terms. PcketBinder is currently operated by an individual developer, not a registered company — "PcketBinder," "we," and "us" below all refer to that same operation. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the app.

What PcketBinder is

PcketBinder is a personal collection-tracking tool for sports and trading cards: a digital binder, want list, sets and checklists, and sold/traded history, with AI-assisted card scanning and pricing estimates layered on top. PcketBinder is not a marketplace — you can't buy or sell cards through it directly. The want list can show you live eBay listings and link out to eBay, but any purchase happens on eBay's own site, under eBay's own terms. PcketBinder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card manufacturer, grading company, eBay Inc., or Anthropic.

Your account

Acceptable use

Use PcketBinder for its intended purpose — cataloging and tracking your own card collection. Please don't:

Violating these terms may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Your content

You own the photos, notes, and data you put into PcketBinder. By uploading them, you grant PcketBinder a limited license to store, process, and display that content back to you (and to anyone you choose to share it with, such as a public profile or a shared binder link) solely for the purpose of running the app. We don't claim ownership of your content, and we don't use it for anything beyond providing the service to you — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what's shared with third-party services like Anthropic, CardSight, eBay, and PSA to power scanning and pricing.

Third-party links and affiliate disclosure

The want list's live eBay listings feature links out to eBay. Those links may include eBay Partner Network (Impact.com) affiliate tracking, meaning PcketBinder may earn a commission on purchases made after clicking through, at no extra cost to you. We don't control eBay's listings, pricing, availability, or seller conduct, and any purchase is a transaction between you and eBay/the seller, not with PcketBinder.

Disclaimers

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PcketBinder and its developer aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to decisions made based on estimated card values, AI-read card data, or third-party listings. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

Termination

You can stop using PcketBinder and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@pcketbinder.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PcketBinder after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

Note: This section is intentionally left general. If you need a specific governing-law and jurisdiction clause, that should come from an actual attorney familiar with where you operate — this document is a good-faith draft, not a substitute for legal review.

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the developer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
